Twinkle twinkle little star
How I wonder what you are
Up above the world so high
Like a dimond in the sky

How minuscule am I to you
In the dark you shine so true
Through the night I see your face
And dream about a better place

Twinkle twinkle little star
How I wonder what you are

These mortal eyes do draw you near
A song to sing for you to hear
But far from me you'll always be
So left in doubt for all to see

Twinkle twinkle little star
How I wonder what you are

In the day you fade away
Another star does light the way
Not as bright and not as true
But gives me comfort sought from you

Twinkle twinkle little star
How I wonder what you are

Would rush to you if only asked
But would I now or only pass
Could I if I wanted to
Would I if I knew it true

using the classic as a foundation and break between parts... works with our without i guess, but i was looking at the sky when i thought of it so there...


also my mental state was... how you say... out for a bit

Sean, what a creative idea to use Twinkle Twinkle as a base for another poem. you did transitions quite nicely... the whole poem is very well written and has a certain flow to it.
Your writing improves with every poem you compose and post. Cant wait to see what it will be like in the future! ^^
